First Year Students

Housing and Residence Life at the University of Dayton commits itself to providing an intentional living experience for students interested in housing. Recognizing the inherent challenges of heightened academic rigor and independence, we seek to address the needs of students from all academic backgrounds. 

Students at the University of Dayton have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a learning and living environment intended to promote holistic growth and development.  Our living experience seeks to provide students with the necessary tools to face and challenge the obstacles throughout their academic and professional journey.

Note: All incoming students are assigned to live in housing with their peer group members.

Graduate Students

We understand the rigorous commitment to pursue a graduate degree at the University of Dayton. Therefore, we want to provide our students with the appropriate installations and resources to endure in such academic endeavor while fostering a sense of community. 

Graduate and Law students have the ability to apply for housing.  Nevertheless, we have a limited number of University-owned apartments designated for them. Therefore, housing assignments are based upon your submission of the Campus Housing Reservation Form or email request, and availability of space.
